Caoling Historic Trail

One of my favorite trails is Caoling Historic Trail . I usually go there almost once every two months because of its stunning view and it’s a great exercise with moderate difficulty; therefore, it’s accessible to all members of family. The best season to go is autumn when you can enjoy the lush Chinese silver grass in November. The Caoling Historic Trail is located between New Taipei City and Yilan. It is the only remaining section of the old Ching Dynasty trail to provide the only land link from Tamsui to Yilan . The trail is about 10 kilometers long and offers a pleasant hike of two to three hours, but my usual route is from YuanwangKeng  to the top of the mountain, with 4 kilometers distance and it takes about 40 minutes to an hour to go to Ya Kou, the top of the mountain where you can have a panoramic view of the ocean with rolling hills behind you. There are two pavilions for people to enjoy the view and take a rest. I often have a picnic there once I reach the top as a reward of my hike.

I’ve always wanted to go camping for a long time, but few of my friends like camping even though camping is taking Taiwanese by storm. Camping in Taiwan is in full swing now because it’s cheap and people can enjoy the nature either by the stream or in the high mountain; most of all, it’s a family event to bond with each other and spend time with family. I have a few camping experiences of my own. The recent camping trip was in a one of the tall mountains in Taiwan. My main purpose was to go mountain climbing for three days, but the mountain cottage was fully booked, so I had to stay in a camping tent with 4 other girls and we had to cook our own food on a camping stove. Luckily, the hiking tour I joined prepared food for us to cook. It was amazingly tasted to eat hot food and soup and even hot coffee in a tall mountain with the temperature reached minus 5 degree. I was grateful for that even though the tent I stayed in was icy cold even though I put on all my down vest and overcoat. The freezing wind still rushed by like a lion snatched its prey. I sneezed for a whole week after that camping.

Camping-2

In retrospect, my limited camping experience always ended up in a disaster. Whether man-made mistakes or natural causes, somehow, I always wind up sick or injured. When I think about the reasons, I think maybe I wasn’t well-prepared for it. First of all, camping will cost you an arm and a leg if you think about all the equipment that you have to buy. First, shelters—tents, ground and shade tarps, extra stakes, ropes, hammer and so on. Second, bedding---sleeping bags, sheets/blankets, pillow, air mattress…etc. Don’t even get me started on cooking utensils. You have to spend tons of money buying camping gears before you actually go camping, but of course I could also go on wild life style, like sleeping outdoors with only sleeping bags or just making shift with what is at hand like tree leaves, like the famous British adventurer, Bear Grylls in Running Wild, surviving and thriving in the outdoors without anything. I guess I wasn’t brave enough to put myself out there unprotected. So I decided to save up some money to buy those camping gears one step at a time.

Camping-3

Today, I’m going to start with sleeping bags. I need one that can sustain freezing weather in tall mountains. A good sleeping bag can actually save your life in the face of extremely cold weather. It’s not that I go mountain climbing above 3000 meters a lot, but I do sometimes go hiking in mountains over 3000 meters, so I’ll need a sleeping bag that can serve the purposes of both camping and hiking. Therefore, the first thing I look for in a sleeping bag is the temperature rating. Because of the possibility of camping in a near-freezing weather, I’ll head for a sleeping bag that can sustain zero Celsius. Next, I’d like to have a barrel-shaped sleeping bag because their tapered design offers greater warmth and efficiency and there’s a plenty of room for a comfortable night's sleep. As for the insulation type, I would choose a goose-down sleeping bag which provides a more durable and compressible alternative. The above sums up my ideal sleeping bag. With a dream sleeping bag like this, I guess the price tag will probably go through the roof. Ha!

Camping-4

There’s something about sleeping out in nature that relaxes even the busiest of people. The beauty of the nature and spending time in the wild has an amazing ability to create a feeling of serenity. For me, it’s even therapeutic. That’s why I want to save up some money and buy myself all the gears I need for camping. After choosing my sleeping bag yesterday, the next thing I’m planning to buy will be a tent. First, the size of the tent, I’ll be traveling mostly alone or with my friends, so I think a two-person tent would be a good start. If I travel alone, there’ll be plenty of space to put all my gear inside the tent and if I travel with a friend, the space would still be cozy and comfortable. I like to have an instant pop-up tent because setting up a tent could be a hassle for a lazy person like me, so an instant pop-up tent would be a good choice for me. I do have one instant pop-up tent for the beach, not for camping and I think it’s so convenient that even for a dummy like me can set up a tent instantly within seconds. Pop-up tents are easy to set up and they require no complicated instructions, so no need for a degree in engineering. Once you pull out a pop-up tent from a bag and throw it in the air, and ….ta-da! You have a tent.

http://www.powerjackpowerinverter.com/Grid_tie_power_inverter

Camping-5

I have bought my two-person instant pop-up tent and my goose-down sleeping bag. I tried to sleep in my newly-purchased sleeping at home the other day. It was way too warm for an indoor temperature of 20 degree, but it should be fine for a winter or mountain temperature. So the next thing I’m going to acquire is an air-mattress. Sleeping on the hard ground is harmful for the back. Camping air mattresses ensure that I am well rested, so I am able to trek and explore to my fullest while I am outdoors or in the mountain – after all, camping is all about getting close to nature, and I won’t be able to do that well with a sore back! First of all, I think I’ll go for a lighter air-mattress because the bulkier it gets, the heavier it will be. I don’t like to carry heave stuff when I travel, but light air-mattress means it won’t provide too much of a comfort, but then If I want comfort, I would just stay home. Therefore, comfort is not my top priority. I just need something that wouldn’t give me a sore back the next morning I wake up. And of course, it comes without saying that I’ll also need a portable pump to inflate it. Because of my two-person tent, it’s suitable to have a two-person air-mattress to go with the tent. The air-mattress should be able to rolls up into a compact shape that can easily be stored or transported when not in use. It’s time to get on line and buy one now.

Camping-6

After choosing my camping air-mattress, the next thing I’ll go for is the camping cookware. That is a very important part for me because I am a foodie. Camping outdoor doesn’t necessarily mean you can only eat instant noodles or bread. However, with a full array of metals to choose from, from stainless steel to titanium, and many variations of aluminum in between, it's difficult to know which one is the best and how to choose a set that adequately fits my needs. I am looking for something that I can throw in a pack and take with me on the trail but also can be used while cooking at a campground. I’ve already got a camping stove. After comparing the different materials of cookware, I may go for titanium due to its extremely light weight and corrosion-resistant and it’s also durable. Of course, the downside of choosing titanium cookware is the expense.

Camping-7

I’m pretty much equipped with basic camping gears—a pop up tent, a sleeping bag, an air-mattress, a camping stove and a set of cookware. Now the next thing is to pick a place to camp. Just when I thought about the camping place, a piece of news caught my attention. Camping is all the rage now. A total of 2 million people in Taiwan go camping on holidays to retreat from the hustle and bustle of busy work lives just to lay on the grass admiring the starry sky at night. Besides, camping is affordable. It’s one of the most economical choices for a family getaway. It gives you the most bang for your buck. However, if 2 million people go camping, would camping trip still have fun? Wouldn’t the environment take a toll from so much camping population? The news reported about the problems resulted from camping. There are too many illegal camping sites without any safety precautions or measures and there’s no specific camping law to regulate these camping sites. Moreover, the camping sites may wreak havoc on the already fragile mountain susceptible to flooding because more and more camping sites are open for business on the mountains. The above problems make it a tough decision to choose a safe or legal camping site. I just hope the government can hammer out a new camping regulation as soon as possible so that people can go out there and pitch that tent with no worry.

Similar to good camping tents, the offer in camping chairs and tables is huge for campers. Customers can choose from a wide variety of types, models, and sizes. Considering that I don’t have much space in my car, I should opt for simple folding chair that I can lie on my back and stretch a little. As for the table, my ideal camping table is weather resistant, stable and easy to store and carry. Especially weather resistance is an important issue because people regularly leave the table outside. It is also useful that the legs of the camping table are adjustable on any surface. Lightweight is a must because there will be too many stuff to carry when you go camping. It’s a tedious task to carry all the camping gears. On second thought, I am not even sure a foldable table can be fit into my car. So maybe I’ll start with the chairs.

Whenever I see people camping, A lot of them go camping with a lot of bells and whistles. I guess they are trying to make their camping feels like a home away from home. My only question is with all that stuff, they must need a car that is as big as a camper or a bus. Yes, there are some camping accessories that I like to have in my camping. The first one is a hammock. I guess I’ve always dreaming about napping or reading on that hammock rigged up in trees. When hung correctly, hammocks offer a lot of comfort. Researchers found that the swinging motion provided by a hammock affords a faster route to sleep and the benefit of deeper sleep throughout the night. This research provides insight into why rocking to sleep is the best method for lulling babies. Since the mild swinging sensation works on our brainwaves. It is thought that sleeping in a hammock may be the cure for people with very severe insomnia. So maybe I have found a solution to my sleeping problem. A hammock not only for outdoors but also for home.

One thing that is crucial to camping is the site. Today I’m going to talk about the campsite. Choosing the wrong spot to set up your campsite can lead to a miserable night in the dark. So, what should people consider before setting up camp? Comfort, solitude, and scenery are a good place to start. Most campsites in Taiwan are owned by private owners. Some are more rustic and simple, others are more comfortable and well-equipped. There are four things to consider before choosing. First, the camp ground. There are gravel, grass, wooded-plank or asphalt ground to choose from. There are pros of cons of each ground. Personally, I prefer wooded-plank due to its clearly marked boundary and it prevents moisture and dirt if it rains. Second, the bathroom. If you have to pay to camp in the campsite, then the convenience and cleanness of bathroom such as the facilities and size of the bathroom and the availability of hot water will be important factors. And then, of course , there’s the view. That’s the most important for me. If I just want to camp outdoors, I can just camp in a park near my home or my own balcony. Why bother carrying all that stuff all the way to the campsite? However, choosing a campsite also depends on how much time people have. If time isn’t an issue, the farther, the higher, the better. Be it by the side of a lake or ocean, or a tall mountain, I always feel relaxed and happy in the embrace of Mother Nature, but it won’t be easy with my busy work schedule. So I’ll have to settle for a less desirable location when I don’t have much leisure time.

I join a camping club on Facebook and every day I see people posting their camping pictures on the FB like it’s a contest. Some people show off their enormous camping tent that seems to accommodate a hundred people, others show off their cooking skills with delicate plates to go with the fancy food, and still others showcase their tent that literally looks like a home because of all the furniture they bring along: inflated sofa sets, tables, coolers, hammock, rugs, wind chime….you name it. That’s just way too much stuff to transport in one camping trip. I think that’s too much trouble to go camping if you have to carry all this stuff just to make yourself comfortable. That’s where the multi-functional furniture comes in. It would be nice to have multi-functional mobile furniture that you can carry along without too much sweat and I found just the perfect one for me. This multi-functional rolling cooler will really come in handy. I can keep my food and drinks in the cooler and unfold the sides to make a perfect picnic table and two folding chairs. Isn’t that cool? Its large, wide wheels and the trolley handle make it easy to transport. It’s perfect not just for camping, but also for picnicking. It’s definitely on my top 5 most-wanted camping list though I just don’t know where to buy it.

Camping-12

I was told that if go camping is some activity I’ll be in for a long haul, I should get a living area tent which provides extra space and enhance qualify of camping especially on raining days. So I check online to look for some inflatable tent for living area hoping to find one that’s ideal yet economical. Setting up a huge tent is way too much work for me, so I’ll naturally opt for something inflatable just like my instant pop-up tent. The most obvious reason is the time it takes to put up and take down. When you get to your pitch, you don’t have to spend nearly as much time erecting it, meaning you’ll have more time for exploring and having fun. Instead of using poles, inflatables use air pumped in through a valve to give the tent strength and rigidity. The benefit is that it takes a lot less time to pitch an inflatable than a pole variety (which is hard for a dummy like me), but the downside is they tend to be quite a bit more expensive. After browsing through the price range of the inflatable tent, I decided not to buy it for now because of my limited budget.

Camping-13

If I’m not planning to buy a living area inflatable tent, then I should consider buying a tarp. First of all, If the ground is wet and muddy, you can pitch my tent on top of a tarp as an extra ground sheet. In addition, when you set up a tarp, you have a place to cook, eat, and shelter from the rain. A tarp lets you eat even when wet! Also, an impromptu shelter when pitching in the rain, enabling you to get your gear into your tent but stay nice and dry. With all the above reasons, I think a tarp is necessary when I only have a pop-up tent with no water proof material. However, the main disadvantage is the added weight and packing space, but I’ll be most camping in a campsite driving my car, so the additional weight of a tarp (and the needed additional tent pegs/cords) won't be much of a problem. Another problem is that setting up a tarp requires a little practice. If I buy a tarp, I’ll have to learn some pitching skills to set up a tarp, but overall, I think it’s worth to buy a tarp so that you can go camping without worrying about the rain or the sun.

Talking so much about camping, I finally went camping over the weekend. The camping site that I went to is dubbed as “six-star” camping site because of its modern facilities and its price. Surrounded by lush green mountains, Queentown is abundant with natural resources and well-organized recreational facilities. It is truly an ideal place for a family retreat and allows people to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. People may either rent a bike to have a scenic tour around the forest or jump into the wild creek to have a quick dip in the water. If some people are not so much into outdoor activities, then they can grab a cup of coffee in a cozy café tucked away right in the forest. There is a very family-friendly campground with campsites and cabins at Queentown, where barbecue is a popular get-together on weekends. Overall, for a rookie camper like me, camping in a “six-star” campsite can’t go wrong. So I drove my car, took my dog and my camping gear to embark on my camping trip.

Camping-15

Before I went camping, I thought about the food I was going to bring. As a rookie camper, I didn’t have a cooler, so any fancy food would be out of the question. Without a cooler, meat and vegetables will not stay fresh in a hot day. Therefore, I brought spaghetti, tomato sauce can, dried rice and instant beef pack, instant noodles and a lot of snacks that are enough to feed four people. The things about these foods are they can be easily cooked over a camp stove without complicated cooking techniques or adding any flavor or seasoning. This was the first time I went camping alone, so I didn’t want to spend too much time on cooking outside especially when I didn’t have enough equipment. Relaxation and spending quality time with my fur kid were my focus. Besides, if I want to eat fancy food, the campsite has a great restaurant that provides a variety of food to choose from. But then, it would be meaningless to eat in a restaurant while camping. All in all, the food turned out to be better than I expected. It’s not restaurant quality, but it’s delicious enough to satisfy my appetite. With this experience, I know that I need to have a cooler if I want to have a feast outdoors. I’ve already come up with a menu for my next camping trip.

I forked out a fair amount of money for this camping trip. First of all, I bought a sleeping bag that can withstand extremely freezing weather. And then I bought a pop-up tent along with an air-mattress with a pillow and a handheld pump. Of course, you can’t go camping without cookware. I have two pots, a large one and a small one and a pan to fry food with. And then a foldable chair and two camp lanterns one for inside the tent and the other for the outside of the tent. I also bought a single stove that functions perfectly. One thing that is very important for me is a travel pull-over coffee pot and swan-neck kettle so that I can brew coffee whenever I want. That pretty much forms basic camping gears for a camping trip. Three things I’m going to purchase: a cooler to store fresh ingredients to make my meal quality better. With a cooler, I could even fry myself some steak in the outdoors. A table will enable the quality of camping better. I know the camping site has tables for rent, that’s why I didn’t buy a table. The third thing would be a tarp that can prevent my camping trip from being ruined by the scorching sun or most of all, by the pouring rain. These are only basic camping gears and I haven’t bought anything fancy. It looks like camping can really put a dent in your wallet.

So I finally went camping with all the equipment I bought. The campsite is famous for its “six-star” facilities; therefore, all the camping gears can be rented from the campsite even if I go there empty-handed. The campsite is abundant with natural resources and well-organized recreational facilities. There is a restaurant, cabins for tent, a huge swimming pool, a barbecue area and a campsite. There are a lot of activities to do in the daytime, but when the night falls, all the facilities are closed for business. Without all the modern technology and the lights were dim, I really couldn’t do anything but sleep. That’s when I thought about and an entertainment---LED intelligent mini projector. The mini projector can project a movie on the top of the tent so that I can enjoy a movie while lying on my air-mattress, which makes my camping all the more luxurious. After I went home from camping, I immediately ordered one online. I’ll be more comfortably equipped next time I go camping.

Imagine waking up to the sights, sounds and smells of nature in one of the most spectacular places, while relaxing in your luxurious tent. Comfortable enough to rival a five-star hotel room with the great outdoors all around you. Once you’ve spent your day experiencing the beauty of nature, you can return to your luxury tent and unwind in style. Well, I have imagined that, many times actually. Who doesn’t want to wind up in a luxury tent and enjoy the outdoor scenery? My many FB friends always share their camping tent on the Facebook and they all look like a luxury hotel. Though I’m just a rookie camper, there will be many things to buy down the camping road. So it’s reasonable that I want to talk about my top three dream luxury tents. One of my favorite ones is cabin-style Safari tent. It comes with 4 twin beds, ideal for families or friends traveling together. And a spacious living area and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, gas hob, microwave oven and sink. Plus all crockery and cutlery, a dining area, electric lighting and a heater give you all the home comforts I need. Sound too good to be true, isn’t it?

http://www.powerjackpowerinverter.com/150W-power-inverter-DC-12V-to-AC-110V

Camping-20

When planning to go somewhere to rest and relax, the most important thing to take is your camping tent. Especially if you’re planning a vacation or wonderful family camping trip, the tent must be one of the luxury camping tents. At first, all luxury camping tents should own the beautiful interior with many doors and windows. Thus, you can sit comfortably inside and still enjoy the fresh air as well as the wonderful outside view. Such wonderful interior can be designed with different styles. In addition, a luxury camping tent not only needs to be large and wonderful but also is made of sustainable materials. Because it has to complete the basic requirement of a tent which protects you from rain, storms, pests or any sudden circumstance from outside. So I’m going to continue on my top three dream luxury camping tents. My second favorite of a dream camping tent is a round tent. The round tent is a luxurious camping in a Mongolian yurt. When you are in a spacious yurt with a luxurious interior, it’s hard to feeling anything, rain or shine. A generous deck and fire pit complement the tent and on a rainy day there is nothing more soothing than feeling cocooned inside the yurt with the sound of rain on your canvas roof. This is glamping at its best with an extra dose of glamour and style. Someday, I hope to realize my luxury camping tent dream.

The great outdoors—it’s not for everyone, myself included. But I’ve come to discover that the last one of my top three luxury tent, In fact, some of the new tents on the market make it so you don’t even have to sleep on the ground. So today my last one is the Cocoon Tree Tent. It has the shape of a cocoon, the comforts of a hammock, the look of futuristic hanging pod. It makes you think about camping in a whole new way. Waterproof and wind resistant, the Cocoon Tree is a nature-friendly, aluminum structure that can be hung in the trees. It also comes with adaptable feet, in case hanging isn’t an option. Approximately 10-feet wide, the Cocoon Tree can easily fit a mattress, as well as an air conditioning or heating unit for year-round use. When you hang it among trees, it provides not just comfort, but also safety from any potential threats while you’re in the wild such as wild animals. When you are in a taller tent than others, you can have a better view enjoying the surrounding scenery that has to offer.

The Newest Version Of Power Inverter

Our newest version power inverter is powerful, which is with 90% efficiency.

Two set battery terminals of power inverter

two set battery terminals on the power inverters has the function to split the input current. If you are using big watts appliance, this can seperate the current to 2 sets cables,  to blance one cable have big amp, avoid one cable become too hot and increase the effiency.

Universal outlet plug on the power inverter

the outlet plug on all our power inverters are universal socket, that has no problem to connect with US standard plugs, aslo fit european UK & AU plugs, no need use any adapter,Also the usual USA socket has only 8amp, this can go to 15amp output.

Why modified power inverter cannot run pump?

As pump or motor appliances require 10-15 times peak power at the starting time, modified power inverter just only have 2 times peak power, you may need LF pure sine wave power inverter to run this kind of appliances.

For LF power inverter which  have a battery chargering function, how can I use it?

if your power inverter is 110V ac inverter, then just use the AC cable to connect your 110V home grid power to the AC input connector on the inverter, then turn on the inverter, if your inverter is split phase inverter, then the AC input power must be 220V 60Hz power, thanks!

if there's an adjustment inside to turn up the outpt voltage?

All the power inverters are factory original design, man cannot turn up the output voltage by themselves.

For LF power inverter, what means UPS funciton?

Just connect the AC power cord to your home AC source, when out of AC power, the power inverter will auto switch to inverter function, this can be your back power.

Is there an internal setting that I can change to lower the amp charge rate for your LF power inverters ?

There is no internal setting that you can change the charge amp, our LF power inverters will charger your battery automatically according your battery status.

Can you use generator with your LF powerinverter?

our 12V or 24V or 48V dc generator has no problem to work with our LF power inverter. if you would like to use other brand generator, then please make sure that the output voltage is 12V or 24V or 48V DC , and also the output power must be pure sine wave power.

For your LF split phase power inverter, I was wondering if you could tell me what the output ports on the bottom are for. It says for large output voltage. So is it 110v or 220v?

the output ports on the bottom of the LF power inverter for large output is 110V connector.

Is your LF power inverter comes with vehicle charger? (plug fits to the cigarette charger)?

All of our LF power inverter don't come with vehicle charger, not fits to the cigarette charger.

How many amps of the battery do I need to work with your power inverter?

If power inverter is 3000w LF power inverter with dc 12v, 90% effieiency, then the battery you need is:  3000w /12v / 90% inverter effieiency / 80% battery effieiency.

why modified power inverter can not run pump?

As pump or motor appliance have 15-20times peak power require, modified power inverter only 2-times peak power, you may need try LF POWER INVERTER to run this kind of appliance.

My solar controller shows: "warning solar panels over voltage" , but I'm sure the solar panel is not over voltage.

The warning will be shown when the battery is almost full or in full situation, you can ignore it if the solar controller is still in working condition.

can this power inverter be stackable or connected in series?
